Dark Elf Corsairs Starting Warhammer?
Hiya,
Im stuck at home for a week with my new dark elf battalion ie:
28 Dark Elf Warriors, 20 Corsairs and 5 Cold One Knights
But I don't yet have any books or the rules. What is the most effective way for me to build these without breaking the rules?
I've decided to just have warriors with reaper crossbows and let the corsairs do all the close combat as im better at stealth/tactical combat (the people im playing against also only have basic battalions at this stage)
Can I have10 corsairs with hand crossbows and 10 with two hand weapons?
It sounds like you're going the right way. However, be aware that if you do the Corsairs with two different weapon sets, they will have to be used as two different regiments as you can only choose one weapons type for each regiment (there are some exceptions, such as including Dark Elf assassins and equipping sergeants or commanders differently, but the rule of thumb is about right).
To get you started, I'd suggest two regiments of 14 warriors each, two of 10 corsairs each (as you're already doing) and one regiment of 5 Cold One Knights.
These will make a good core army to start playing with and you can then decide how you want to expand each regiment, or what units you want to add, once they've had a few turns on the tabletop.

Warhammer Online, vs.. World of Warcraft
To actually see what one is better we will just have to wait until the war (Warhammer online age adjustment accounts), launching in September 2008. However, we can look at the similarities and differences of Mythic Entertainment project (WAR), has in common with blizzards masterpiece, WOW. Both games are based on war-torn realms of fantasy, and both games allow you to choose the parts you want to join the Alliance and the World of Warcraft Horde and the armies of Order and Destruction in Warhammer online age of reckoning.
In these factions to choose you can choose the race of character you would like to be in the factions. In war there only be 6 races three to each faction, dwarves, empire, and the high elves, on one side and green skins, dark elves, and chaos on the other side. For World of Warcraft there will now split five to ten races each side. On the side of the alliance is located, the night elves, dawrfs, gnomes, humans, and draenie. On the side there are hordes of orcs, trolls, tauren, undead, blood elves.
The difference in the two games are not as noticeable on the surface, since they are in the interior side of the game, but the look of the games has their own signatures, there is a sense more realistic, darker to war as a battalion WOW. Together with two distinctive styles of graphics, you really play that feeders in two different directions. World of Warcraft is very epic and adventure driven, making the adventure very full fantasy and making it easy for you same role in the character. Warhammer Online is a player against player, Realm vs. realm feel, where in WOW you can do player vs. player of good articles and a desire to show their friends on the other side is better, still based on sub portion of epic. The href = "http://www.warquestguide.com"> Warhammer missions are not as hedious to do what I focus mainly in PVP / RVR. In WAR however an atmosphere of constant war, you can even level from beating other players. In WOW the rewards for player vs. player as stated above the opportunity to receive epic gear. In the war of the best players at the end of the week will have temporary statues erected in his similarity.
The two games share a similar appearance and games have similar origins, however, as soon as you play the two, in contrast to the other to find two different games. Make the judge if one is better than the other. Warhammer Online also has its own game play known as Realm vs. United stemming from his successful MMORPG earlier known as Dark Age of Camelot. The opposing faction are able to compete in big fights in the open and castle sieges of over 200 players simultaneously. Talk Mr processor eh? In World of Warcraft, is allowed in open battle in player vs. player realms but is very limited due to restrictions and lack of great prizes for the fight against the opposing faction. Both games use the same currency. In Warhammer, gold is as demanded as WoW. So why do many players are looking for places to buy cheap war gold
