What the NFL Gets most of golf clubs still do not!

Here is a quick claim for you, how many minutes of actual game is in a NFL game average?
Answer to follow ...
A good 80% of the questions I have in my recent "Ask the promotion of anything Andrew" about discount and loyalty! Both of which are very topical in this economy, an economy as bad as most of us have ever seen and that affects nearly all businesses.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers Tampa Bay manage to sell 63,000 tickets per game, only a fraction less than full capacity (65,000) no discount! My entries in the 10-yard line are a long way of the best locations in the midfield and even $ 195 per game, per seat. For the privilege of being able to buy two tickets per game, also paid a license $ 4000 seats, making it the season of NFL experience than $ 1,000 per game for my son and me. Every few meters down to the midfield, entries Jump $ 50 or more until a ticket is $ 750 per game. Even the cheapest seats are $ 75 - $ 95 per set (as much as many green fees) and there are still many people to pay for them, why?
Could it be that we have the best looking cheerleaders in the league?
Or, with the Strategic Command just a couple of miles away, we have a guarantee "fly" each game?
The national anthem before gambling and extravagance of the flag will bring a tear to the eye (even for a Brit like me!)
The pregame story on the big screens? When our boat sinks pirate ships of all other NFL teams in the tune of Ride of the Valkyries (probably misspelled), the same music as helicopter at the scene of Apocalypse Now, for the less musically educated!
It could be your own pirate ship? Letting off cannon rounds every time we get in the red zone? Or, perhaps scores help pull free accounts?
I'm sure it must be the only NFL team with palm trees in the stadium and fresh sushi in demand? Ever been to a golf club which offers sushi?
Anyway, have a great selection of food and drink, and not just hot dogs and Bud. Although there seems no shortage of people willing to pay even $ 8 a proposal for Bud! The employees seem happy to be there and there is a great all round atmosphere is very festive!
Then, of course, is the gift of the door. Last game of a limited edition Mike (The A-Train) Alstott Bobble head doll! Others have included caps, golf towels and of course T-shirts, but there is something to take home every game!
Perhaps all charity work Glazier family and the organization do for the community?
The tickets are even fun, 3-D style that makes the player jump of the page.
Did I mention that is three and a half hour trip around my house? Never mind, I can not wait for every game and is something I enjoy doing with my son.
I think we'll make the playoffs this year and when we do, the economy or not, the last remaining 2% of all unsold tickets are gone!
As in this economy can this be? Because the NFL and the Buccaneers, in particular, understand that they are in the entertainment business! That is a fact lost on many golf courses!
What do you do at each point of contact to entertain members and guests?
- What you feed them that's memorable?
- What have you to take home as souvenirs?
- What, apart from its present course, Trully is memorable about your experience at your club? Memorable enough that someone could write three-page letter in which people how good it was!
If you had that in place, the bad economy or not, you'd be doing great! The majority of people use the economy as an excuse to Underperform. Do not get caught by this kind of negative thinking of others! There are 63,000 people who did not play golf in Tampa on Sunday, because someone gave them a better, though EXPENSIVE offer much more for their entertainment dollar!
Indeed, less than 6 minutes of physical action in an NFL game. That $ 1000 the game turns out to be ... well, never mind to me and apparently 63,000 people in Tampa to all other Sunday, because they think it is worth it!
