Reach Transfer

what is the max speed for 10/100/1000 Network that can reach ?
hi
assuming i want to copy a file from one pc to another
both pcs have 10/100/1000 Network cards
and are connected together throw a Switch that supports 10/100/100
what is the max transfer speed that it can reach ?
thanks
your network cards can have a maximum speed of 1000 mbps, but it does not mean that its a constant speed of transferring data to another pc. there are many factors affecting data transfer, as pc devices works in many ways depending on the task your pc is performing.
the switch that supports 10/100/100 is not clearly stated, may be you mean 10/100/1000. switches as devices has also minimum and maximum speeds in transferring data, so speed of data transfer also depends on how many pc is connected to your switch.

Transferring a Domain Name
Transferring a domain name from one registrar to another may seem confusing and complex topic. It is actually very simple After gathering some important pieces of information.
The first step is to find the new "home" of your domain name. In fact, there only two options: a domain registration or web hosting company is also a domain registrar. Some registrars do not offer web hosting services - in these cases, when someone tries to reach your site in the Internet directory system (called DNS) will contact them to find out if your site is very localized. This is a solution perfectly viable, but can not be the lowest cost as there are many web hosts now also offer domain registration services as well. This second option allows you to manage the domain name and host your website in one place and often comes at a price lower than separating the two services. You must decide what is best for you the thought of simplicity is probably easier just to have achieved all in one place.
The second step is to visit your old registrar and obtain your authorization code. This code will be required to give your new registrar can request transfer of the domain name. In most of the registrars This code can be obtained directly by means of navigation to the right page. You may have to use its search function and registrars to seek "the authorization code "or" domain name transfer "to know where the authorization code is stored. In the worst case, can even contact the registrar to request the code. Once the code is almost ready to begin the transfer.
The third step in Domain transfer is to ensure that the domain name is "open" to the transfer. Years ago it was easy to initiate this activity and the kidnapping simple mastery of the rules was much more common. To help reduce this problem moved to the registrars of a system that allows users to set domain names to a "blockade" of the state to prevent anyone from starting a transfer. If you have a decent record this will be the case and may need to change the "state" of your domain name to allow the transfer to begin. Again, this is usually managed right on the same page as you find the domain name, but you may have to use its search function and / or call the registrar for help.
Once you have found your new home, found his authorization code, and made sure the domain is "open" for the transfer is ready for the move. The fourth step is to initiate and accept the domain transfer. The Web site of its new registrar to find their domain management tool or transfer. You will have to enter the name of domain and is also requested authorization code. Once you have submitted the application will have to verify the email address linked to the name domain - this is probably the one you used when registering for the domain. If for some reason no longer has access to that account that you are going through hoops to get this step manipulated.
If you do not have access to that email the quickest way to resolve this is to call the old registrar and let them know what happened. If your site is a FORTUNE 500 company is likely to be easier, but do not be surprised if the solution of this problem requires some time. If you have access to email things will be simple - most likely just click on a link that "agree" to allow sending a start or possibly, you will need to enter a code somewhere to get you started.
Once that is done all the latest you have to do is make sure everything works after the transfer. The actual transfer will take place from hours to several days. If things do well not suffer any downtime of your website but in the worst cases you can see up to 48 hours of connection problems for some users and DNS servers are updated with new information. In our experience has been very few issues.
Under review here are the steps:
1. Find a new registrar or a hosting service that provides registration
2. Get the authorization code for your domain
3. Make a request
4. OK the request was sent to your email
5. Make sure everything works after transfer
After the domain name transfers should be good to go!
