Samurai or Highlanders?

Who would win: Samurais with katanas, brass scale armor, dagger-axes, naginatas and bows?
Or Scottish highlanders in leather armor with claymores, pikes, maces, flails, lochaber axes and crossbows?

the samurai would usually fight against peasant infantry or other samurai and observe a code of "honour" called Bushido which allowed him to act in a certain way with a form of chivalry.

Highlanders would simply just kick them in the nuts when the samurai were still talking about the rules and then smash their heads in.......... and that would be during the fitball with ha' skin of heavy in them.
