Marine Squad
this is a straight up question, which is better, a marine infantry squad or an army infantry squad?
Well, taking into account that the average USMC squad has 13 men in it, and the average US Army squad has only 9, I would have to say that the USMC is better, based on quantity.

The Medal of Honor serves as a tribute and a tribute and a recognition award to veterans of the United States of America. It was Jason L. Dunham, which showed an indomitable fighting spirit and exemplary courage while serving as a rifle squad leader. During a White House ceremony on 11 January 2007, Corporal Jason Dunham was awarded the Medal of Honor by President George W. Bush.
A brief history
Jason was born on 10 November 1981 in Scio, New York. Entered service in Scio, New York. He served with K Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, based in Twentynine Palms, California.
Jason L. Dunham served as Rifle platoon leader, 4th Platoon, Company K, 3rd Battalion Marines 7 (Reinforced), Regimental Combat Team 7, 1 Marine Division (Reinforced), U.S. Marine Corps. Jason really believes in freedom of every man, woman and child on this earth.
The Mission
It was on 14 April 2004, Corporal Dunham and his team was in a reconnaissance mission in Karabilah, Iraq. Approximately two kilometers to the west, came the burst of small arms fire and rocket propelled grenade. In a serious attempt to provide fire support to the caravan of his battalion commander, Dunham and his team advanced anti-armor for its mission. His commander's convoy had been attacked by enemy forces, while heading toward the camp Husayba. As the Navy s advanced, experienced large amounts of enemy fire and obstacles. Corporal Jason Dunham then ordered his team to leave their vehicles. Then he directed the fire team on foot, southwards towards the convoy of an ambush.
They then noticed several cars trying to leave Iraq. These vehicles were stopped by the search team for any type of weapons, bombs or grenades. As the team approached the Iraqi vehicles, an insurgent jumped out and attacked Dunham. A struggle there was fierce between the two and came under insurgent on the floor, after which he threw a grenade. All fellow Marines were immediately warned of an explosion or imminent threat.
Selfless commitment to his duty
In a great act of courage, courage and commitment, Corporal Dunham decided to cover the grenade with his helmet and body in order to protect his Marines from the blast and gave his own life as he suffered fatal brain injuries. The grenade exploded under his helmet, after which he never gained consciousness. After 8 days died at National Naval Medical Center. He was 22.
He took the brunt of the blast and is an exemplary selfless commitment with regard to his duty and the nation. This proved to be a reflection of their indomitable courage and decided to the devotion to his country. This act of courage always be held paramount and will mark the highest traditions of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Parents spend the Medal of Honor to all service members
On 11 January, when the Medal of Honor was awarded a White House ceremony, parents of Jason Dunham Medal dedicated to all service members.
