Also, im new to the world of online airsoft shopping, so I world like a few suggestions about what are the best guns with the best prices? thanks!

In the light before dawn Monday, 11 December 1899, General Andrew Wauchope led his men in the Highlands in a dawn attack on the Boer positions, believed to be rooted somewhere between the hills ahead of Magersfontein. At present, only the silhouette of kopie Magersfontein could be seen around 1000 meters in the distance. Wauchope continued through the flat plains to the hills and disasters. 400 meters hell broke loose. No one had suspected that the Boers had camouflage themselves in the trenches at the foot of the hills Magersfontein. At the end of days is ranked low in 902 deaths on the British side and 236 on the Boer side. Between the fallen Wauchope himself, just 200 yards from the Boer trenches.
The Anglo Boer Magersfontein battlefield site, the war is about 35 kilometers south of the South African diamond capital of Kimberley on the east side of the N12 which connects Kimberley to Cape Town. In the last 7 miles is a gravel road that runs on the south side of the hills Magersfontein. There is a big important entrance on the left that leads to the area that was occupied by the Boers in the battle. Be sure to obtain a map at the door. Once through the front door makes it one to the visitors center. About half upwards, there is a fork in the road. The right hand the road leading to the foothills of Magersfontein and old Boer trenches, while the left path ends at the visitor center.
The center visitors contains an excellent museum displaying many artifacts of the battle. These include guns, rifles, uniforms and artillery shells. From the visitor center there a path leading toward the edge of Magersfontein kopie where one can get a good view of the British positions in the distance below. A small covered shelter contains a display and information tables on the various points of interest in the area. Heading back, past the visitor center, there is a monument at the most Magersfontein high kopie dedicated to the memory of the officers and men of the various Highland regiments who fell here on December 11, 1899. Just to the west are roads that lead little Boer gun positions. A trip to the foot of kopie Magersfontein Boer and former trench line is well worth a visit. The trenches of execution of hundreds of meters from east to west in a zigzag line.
The British position may be accessed by heading back to the front door and across the road to the south. Here, a large flat plain extends for many miles. The area is sparely vegetation with only a few thorn trees and anthills provide any protection to British troops. That dot the landscape are the numerous monuments dedicated to the various regiments of the British, whose men were here at that fateful day. Among them are the monuments to the Northumberland Fusiliers, the Light Infantry of the Highlands, and the Black Watch. Far to the east, is a monument a Scandinavian regiment that fought on the side of the Boers, and was totally destroyed by the British. The monuments that are often hundreds of meters apart and more or less indicate the position where most men of a regiment in particular fell.
Looking back north toward the hills Magersfontein, one wonders what went through the minds of men who participated in the battle that morning before dawn. The hills look ominous in the distance, almost as if they harbor a great dragon spitting fire in the form of bullets and cannon fire.
About the Author:
I spend much of my free time exploring the remote and interesting areas of South Africa and Namibia. Many of these places have very little public information available. This is one of the reasons I have developed the KanStra Travel website in order to give tourists a chance to also discover these places.
