Fully Furnished Garages?
I've seen garages fully furnished with paintings, couch, and a mini kitchen and flowers just like a living room. I'm talking about lavish, though, not cheesy.
My Q is is this safe--meaning do rats, or spiders come in a garage still even though the walls are painted, the roof is covered, and all that? Just wondering because isn't a garage still a garage? Your thoughts, please.
I used the garage as my "master bedroom" for almost 2 month this summer while I was still doing some cosmetic work in the house we were about to move in(e.g. painting, flooring etc...) Car has to be outside (unless you want a headache n the morning), doors and windows shot. Cost me an extra $200 to get the window AC but it was worth the money. I had to check up on bugs before doing to bed. Garage is not such a bad place to sleep as long as you manage to keep the insects out and AC ON during summer.

A toxic home results from a combination of synthetic paints, toxic emissions from furniture and carpets and poor air quality. The main ingredient in natural paints is linseed oil. The oil is a natural derivative of linseed and then mixed with other natural oils, resins and pigments. Natural vs. synthetic

In addition, paints and natural finishes are biodegradable and the manufacturing process involves a minimum of energy, waste and pollution.
Different brands of natural paints differ in terms components and properties, especially the ingredients and benefits. If you have allergy sufferers in particular at home, be sure to cross reference with the ingredients of the paint. In most cases the natural ingredients found in natural painting to be a great alternative to synthetic solvents and products chemicals in other paintings.
